Children's Show Audition Workshop

WCST will be hosting a workshop for children that will be auditioning for Wizard of Oz. The workshop will be primarily targeting children with little or no experience with auditioning, but all children are welcome to attend. They will learn about audition anxiety, how to prepare for and behave in an audition and what is expected. They will learn an audition song (or two) as well as a monologue that can both be used for their November audition. They will learn some basic dance moves that are used in almost all ensemble dances. There will also be a short section for parents/guardians to learn how to be of help to children that are preparing for an audition. Children should come with a pencil, script, comfortable clothes & shoes, water and a snack.
